The remote should connect after a few moments. This tablet is a corvette motor inside a Ford pinto. Your controller cannot be used with other Android devices at this time. I have some disconencts and i have to manually reconnect and sometimes i have to reboot the device. I've got all the other requirements covered.
No studdering, no buffering, just good quality 4K video from this thing. Or perhaps there's some settings I'm missing that will speed up the connection so I can actually use this device for it's sole purpose. The source, cable, and display all have to meet minimum specs for the connection to work. No latency at all except 1st person shooters being streamed via Grid. My 4K tv only had 1 port that was hdcp 2.
It's not optimal because the 2. I'll know better this weekend when we tend to watch tv on the shield more. This icon indicates that the controller is on and connected. You should charge your controller, then try again. I had also to turn it completely off to get a connection again.

We have very fast internet but for some reason my pc doesn't even show up to try to stream. You may need to do the full set up on the receiver as well. They deserve to have every single sale returned for a refund. If anyone has had any success with settings I might be overlooking. If one of these is off it may not work. I don't know which of the two actions I took resolved the issue, but the shield seems to be working fine now. I just wish I could sideload Amazon Prime Instant Video and M-Go so I could stream whatever 4K video content they offer besides only Netflix and YouTube video in 4K. This is the best device I've bought in a long time.
This tablet is total garbage that was never even tested. Ya idk what could be wrong. I must say, this console could have a major impact over how games could be delivered in the future. The source, cable, and display all have to meet minimum specs for the connection to work. I get great Wi-Fi signal on this tablet.
I turned them all off and turned them all back on one at a time and now they're all blue. Quote: Originally Posted by seattletruth Oh please, that is not a solution at all. But it's still just a powerful piece of crap that self destructs. Just wanted to share this simple change that for me has made this awesome tablet much more functional. Internet Speed test is not sustained throughput but more of a burst type activity so I am not sure that is providing value. I hate to ask the obvious but have you updated all firmware, software, and drivers including your Shield and router? You'll notice the lights blink a slightly different pattern when it restarts. It's totally ridiculous that you have to pay attention to what orientation you hold it, and actually have to hold the thing upside down to get it to work at all. Hi, I don't think that the problem is related to the router openwrt. Never had an issue with my old asus router.
This happened to me too. When I go to connect to a game everything works fine and I can start gaming. Basically, to set it up best; Connect it to ethernet that goes straight into the router. I have nothing that gives out a 2. No latency at all except 1st person shooters being streamed via Grid. The other solution specific to me would have been to purchase the sek-3500 evolution kit which would have made all my ports hdcp 2. Lastly, I noticed my node lights were all red instead of blue.
