I've always made sure to just take good care of my equipment, and keep everything in good sturdy flight cases for ease of transport and protection. The platter is heavier than Technics. The torque is still strong, the pitch faders are still good and accurate, and i scratch and beat juggle a lot harder and more demanding than many of my friends professional club dj's and turntablists as well with 1200's, who've had to have their Techs serviced multiple times. When you visually compare the needle picture that our site matches to your model but have no visual match to your old needle, then someone likely changed the cartridge on you. So practicing on these made scratches faster on other turntables.
